May is on it's way!

Can you believe that May is knocking on the door? I wake up in the early AM and hear birds singing their beautiful song, just as happy as I am to be able to enjoy the day. The first blooms of my rose bushes are a riot of color and the fragrance is intoxicating. How can you not LOVE Spring, after the allergies have gotten under control? I want to send out a challenge to you all to stop and notice what is around you. We are all busy! What is five to ten minutes to savor nature. This birds nest is being built in my back yard. I check the progress every day. My amazing Mimosa Tree in the front yard is finally "Going Green", after being an ugly stick silhouette. When in full bloom, I can't take my eyes off of it. Enjoy today, this moment, and the world around you!
"Is it so small a thing to have enjoyed the sun, to have lived light in the spring, to have loved, to have thought, to have done?"

March is Just Around the Corner!

Where in the world did the first two months of 2012 go? I am still looking for them. With the advent of Spring comes allergies! Oh how I am dreading this season. It's a love/hate relationship. Love because everything is blooming and beautiful. I drive down the quiet streets in Summerlin and love the avenue of trees with their tender green shoots sprouting. Hate it because all of those blooming things I am allergic to, especially any kind of grasses. Love it because when I walk out in my backyard and gaze at my Oak tree, I see the beginning of a new birds nest being built right before my eyes. Hate it because my those eyes are itching and there is no relief. When I weigh the loves verses hates, I have to say that I love Spring, so I will find a good allergy medicine, an amazing eye drop and savor the incredible awakeinings of this glorious season. Enjoy!

1st day.

First day of Sassy Water. I will keep you posted! January 2 was the first day for school for a lot of people, me included. 4 classes to go and I will have my BA in Healthcare. Yikes, who would have thought that I would return to school right before my 50th birthday? Not me! It is really pretty exciting. Graduation party in May? Massages? Have a blessed day.
